4 years after our first Afghan (Tara) died we couldn't resist and bought Tom. He is Tara's great-grandson.
Tom is a very good and harmless Afghan. He goes well together with all the other dogs.
But he can also show protest if he is not happy with something.
We drive down to the racetrack on some nice saturdays and also take him on the coursing race track. It's just training for him. Because of his long hair he will never be as fast as some of the raceing Afghans but he does his job pretty well and allways runs.
Tom actually loves it slowly - his favorit place is a warm and soft place like the sofa or even sometimes the bed.
